Okay so I already knew the great outdoors and I had a love story but finding myself in the highlands of Scotland just took it to the next level.
Booked a plane ticket from Frankfurt on a whim to Glasgow, no high expectations in sight as the weather was predicted to be cold and rainy. Scotland is known for the mood swings from mother nature, so I was fully expecting it to rain the whole time there and for low visibility. But boy was I in for a treat, the sun came out to play and the clouds parted reveal glorious mountain peaks. We drove out early morning from the city center heading to the valleys and lakes, the wilderness of Scotland. I was filled with excitement as we headed further away from the city and the sky remained clear. For my first time there, seeing all the green landscape and the snow capped mountains definitely added the area to the list of places I need to get back to very soon. Looking back at the pictures, I can’t wait for better weather and the possibility of bagging my first Munro
