Jumped at the first chance I got to take a road trip from Germany. I had a couple months of adjustment with the job, the area, the people and figured it was time to start venturing outside the country. Switzerland is about a four drive from me depending on the road you take and if you try to avoid the toll booths. The early morning wake up call was worth it to make it to the land of chocolate. I love deserts, sweets , so that was really my only motivation for going there. The view of the snow capped Mount Titlis from Lucerne was just breathtaking. I have to go back one day just to climb part of it and see the view from above. Switzerland is a bit expensive when it comes to food so I survived on pizza and chocolate (not bad at all). I  hiked up to the Château Gütsch in the rain and it was a tough one, but was rewarded with an amazing city view. Hopped on a boat ride along lake lucerne and enjoyed its picturesque landscape.
Until next time Switzerland, I will need to load up on some Toblerone chocolate soon
