We traveled to Madrid Spain for a couple of days to soak up some sun and good food. The location of Madrid allowed for no beaches within walking distance, so that meant hitting the concrete jungle. But do not despair, the city was alive with many things to do. During our stay we decided to venture out for a day trip to Toledo. If you have the time, it is a great place to visit only about one hour drive from Madrid.
